Birth Mother Resources
At Tapestry Adoption, our goal is for you to have counselors and mentors every step of the way. You can meet with a birth mom who has walked through the adoption process before or a licensed counselor or both. We can help you with rent, utilities, and other expenses allowable by law. We will work with you to obtain adequate housing and assistance. You don’t have to do this alone, regardless of partner or family support. Free Legal Representation
You may have an attorney that represents you at no charge.
Free Counseling
We know this is a big decision and you may need time to consider all your options. You may have other issues in your life such as trauma, anxiety and troubled relationships that make this time even more difficult. You can choose from a variety of Licensed Counselors, Birth Mother Mentors and even other moms who have recently placed. All of these women are here for you to have an ear and a friend as you make your decision.
Housing and Rent
Depending on your state, we may be able to help you with rent, utilities, your phone bill and other expenses. We also work with maternity homes that can provide housing for you and up to 1 child, for free. These programs also offer free education options.

Brave Love - A pro-adoption movement dedicated to changing the perception of adoption by acknowledging birth moms for their brave decision.
Hands of Hope - Adoption and orphan care ministry. They are a faith-based organization that believes in the power of love to change lives. Their goal is not only to connect these precious children with needed resources, but also provide them with hope and love as they go through life knowing there's someone out there who cares.
Clarity Cares - Clarity Cares is a nonprofit organization providing confidential support and resources for individuals facing pregnancy-related decisions. Their services include pregnancy testing, STI testing, ultrasound, options consulting, and educational programs. They also offer emotional support for those impacted by pregnancy loss, abortion, or past trauma through counseling and group programs. Clarity aims to empower individuals by offering hope and assistance in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
