We like to say we’re Tapestry and we are “cut from a different cloth”. Tapestry Adoptions isn’t your typical adoption agency. We are a ministry. Please allow us to tell you more about Tapestry Adoptions…

We aren’t just “faith based”. Our faith is lived out in every interaction we have with you as an expectant mom. You will feel that difference from the first phone call or text. We want you to know you have the support of a counselor and a mentor for as long as you need them. Our professionals care about you, not just your baby. We want you to be in a better place after working with us in all areas of your life. You may need support to leave an abusive relationship, find a place to live or support with rent and utilities. Perhaps, you are able to move and start again. It’s your journey, but we will walk with you.

Our goals with our families are different too. Adoption is a big money business. That’s not who we are. As Christians, we work with area churches to provide programs to help families adopt without mortgaging their homes or going into severe debt. Our adoptions are less than 1/3 the cost of the big agencies. No one talks about this part of adoption, but we do. We serve our expectant moms with the same honor and respect that we treat our adoptive parents. You are all so very important. You’ll feel that difference after your first phone call. We promise… no pressure, no judgement, just honest answers.

Tapestry is the culmination of my life’s work both personally and professionally. I am a single mom who has adopted both of my children. Because my journey to adoption was filled with financial obstacles, international closures, and a lot of disappointment, I knew that adoption could and should be done differently. Being a person of faith, passion and a huge sense of justice, I felt God draw me into the field of adoption. My background in education, ministry and social work was the perfect weaving of skills necessary to forge the task of becoming a Licensed Child Placing Agency. Tapestry is a ministry. We are not just “faith- based”….our faith is lived out in every interaction we have with you as an expectant mom or with our adoptive families. We believe that each life has intrinsic value, knowing that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, with a future and hope. Because your life matters, we are working diligently to change the stigma of adoption and bring factual abortion education into communities throughout the state. I hope we have the chance to meet, and through our shared experience, weave part of your story into a beautiful Tapestry.

I’ve worked in the adoption field for over 10 years. It is a beautiful culmination of my private counseling practice and my fierce love for children. My focus has always been child and family therapy. I am the parent to three thriving young adults, and my home is in Zionsville, Indiana.

I love the support I am able to offer expectant moms as well as our adoptive families. My work at Tapestry is enjoyable as I see God weave together incredible stories of hope and redemption.

I hope that you will allow us to provide services for you whether that is contemplating an adoption plan, post adoption support or navigating grief and loss of infertility. We are here to support your journey.

The opportunity to work with Tapestry Adoption came at just the right time in my life. I have a background in education and was working for a family and children centered agency that catered to child development. I enjoyed my work with the mothers and children but knew I wanted to yoke with someone who shared my values and passion to bring healing and hope to a world full of chaos and confusion. Once I learned that Tapestry is based in faith and in the truth that all life has value, I knew it was where I wanted to be. Over the last two years, I have been able to walk alongside mothers and families and see, firsthand, the difference a positive adoption experience can make. There is healing and hope when you choose to join with people who genuinely care for you and see you as a person of worth. I would be honored to walk with you in your journey and support you as you choose the path that is best for you and your family.

Personal assessment and feedback is key to doing this and aids in navigating the various emotions you’ll experience. At Tapestry, we believe EVERY life is a precious gift. As such, we advocate for better adoption education and strive to end stigmas surrounding adoption. Our desire is to create community understanding regarding ethical and financial issues that plague the adoption industry; it is our goal to do adoption differently.
